Happy Friday Team!

First off, lets welcome the newest members of our team:

We are glad to have you on the team!

As you have noticed I am working on some new ideas to update the blog.  You may see things change here over the next few weeks as I work out some kinks and different looks, but hopefully in the end this will mean a new blog look and layout for us. 

Some of you may have seen the discussion post regarding team treasuries.  For now it looks as though we are going to put that aside and readdress it later.  This doesn't mean you can't make and promote team treasuries and certainly if you do please link them in the team discussion for them here!

Lastly, today begins the reveal day for the team challenge.  The theme this time is "Natural History". You will be able to enter your work until Tuesday 08/23 and then we will start the voting!  Good luck to all and I can't wait to see what everyone has come up with!

I did something a little different this week. I had a specific theme in mind and couldn't find 16 items from our team to fill the treasury, so I selected 16 items from shops that would be lovely additions to the already fabulous team we have.

I've been a little tight on time this week, so I thought I'd use this lovely team treasury recently created by BRadleyBB. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Okay team...I am woe to admit that in taking the position as the team treasury-maker for the blog I have learned that I despise making treasuries. 

I know some people love it...and some are even really good at it. 

Not me.

I put off making my weekly treasury...then I finally log into etsy Thursday morning...holding my breath, crossing my fingers and doing a treasury dance...hoping another team member has been gracious enough to post to the discussion board a perfectly-lovely treasury that I can use. 

All so I don't have to make one.  

When I was just making them because I felt like it...it was fun and you could add anyone or thing you wanted.  As soon as it became something I had to do...woops.  Now I despise it. 

The funny thing is I also joined that "pay it forward" team where the whole point is to make...team...treasuries...every...time...someone...features...you ...in...one.  I have three shops to manage folks...that's a  lot of treasuries.  Let's just say I don't think I will be doing that much longer either.

All of this is to say, I logged in this morning and started making a treasury for today...and I just couldn't finish it.  It wasn't looking good...it had no real theme and I would have been just making one to make it.  Its never going to get to the front page and I won't even want to view it, so you all likely won't either.

In case you have missed the discussion boards this week, our team mate stitchnmomma has agreed to take over this post starting next Thursday.  I KNOW she will be a far better curator than I have been.

Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day and saw some activity is your shops over the last week.
This week's team treasury is themed "Spring". I don't know about all of you, but I am ready for some warmer days and had a great time pouring over all the shops looking for items that seemed to fit the idea of Spring-time.

Etsy NEAT Team Treasury-Valentine's Edition

Greetings EtsyNEAT Members and followers!

I am Pilous Percilla AKA Amanda and I have been given the opportunity to bring you all the weekly team treasury posts.

This week the theme is of course...Valentine's Day to celebrate the coming holiday. I looked through every shop on our team and found some items that I think would make great gifts for your Valentine.

I must say there is so much talent in our little team that I know there won't be any trouble coming up with fresh treasuries. I am also considering treasuries made by other team members...so keep them coming.
