Valentine's Needlework Patterns!

Happy Valentine’s Day! I thought it would be fun that today’s needlework patterns have a “love” theme. But of course, as love should be celebrated each and every day, these patterns shouldn't be limited to just Valentine's Day...they can be enjoyed anytime!

First is a free pattern generously shared by EtsyNEAT’s very own Bekah of beetastic. Bekah loves using vintage designs to create charming embroidered linens. This shy little Dutch couple is so cute! I love embroidering designs like this onto towels that can be used in the kitchen or powder room…they give a nice pop of color and a touch of whimsy that everyone can appreciate.
(Under the Creative Commons license, this pattern is free to use but please do NOT sell it or use it commercially…thank you!)

This adorable Bunnies in Love embroidery pattern is for sale on Etsy from Joeysdreamgarden. Who wouldn’t love to receive something embroidered with this incredibly sweet original design? Be sure to check out Joey’s shop for other lovely embroidery designs.

Finally, no Valentine’s Day for me would be complete without thinking of my favorite romantic hero, Mr. Darcy. I was excited to find a Mr. Darcy cross-stitch pattern for sale by thetimeisnow. A perfect addition to hang next to my collection of vintage Jane Austen books. But I would also be inclined to stitch the dashing Mr. Darcy onto a pillow and keep him close by on my favorite reading chair!

Happy Stitching!

  1. Thank you for including mine. I do totally agree no Valentines is complete without Mr. Darcy. I just got done reading Pride and Prejudiced for the umpteenth time just for Valentines Day.
