Happy Monday! Today is Memorial Day and many of us will be spending the day at the beach, going on a picnic, taking advantage of big sales at the mall....or maybe just enjoying a lazy day at home with family. But let's not forget that Memorial Day is also a day of remembrance for all the men and women who have died while in U.S. military service. Whether or not you have an ancestor, loved one or friend who served, time should be taken...not to honor war, but to honor those that died in those conflicts and wars.
While browsing through one of my favorite shops on ebay for embroidery patterns, Blondie's Spot, I came across this great vintage set of patriotic embroidery designs. I think these motifs would be great to stitch up on things from towels to napkins. I love the idea of embroidering linens to go with my picnic set...perfect for summer picnicking!
