Q. Tell us a bit about yourself and your shop.
A. My name is Lody, aka HaverhillStudio, and my shop carries bead stitched & embroidered jewelries, accessories and some cross stitch patterns with emphasis on 3D hand-finishing.
Q. What or Who inspires you?
A. Colors, fibers, textiles, beads, but nature inspires me the most! I also love taking pictures of trees anytime of the year then use them as inspirations for my future projects. Me & DH live in a family farm and our house is surrounded by trees - in which some are about a century old.
Q. When you're not doing things for your shop can we find you around the internet?
I also maintain a website - Lody's Creations where I sell my counted thead embroidery (cross stitch & hardanger) patterns in PDF and other jewelries.
Q. What tool could you not live without?
A. So many - hard to pick just one.:) When beading, I can't live without my rosary pliers, but I also have this fiskars scissors (just the regular ones, with orange handles) which was a gift from MIL 6+ years ago, that I adore & truly love! Despite the fact that I have a collection of embroidery scissors, it's the only scissors I keep near me whatever craft I do, i.e. embroidery, beading, scrapbooking, cardmaking, etc.
