Q. Tell us a bit about yourself and your shop.
A. I have been crafting for many years and discovered silk ribbon embroidery in 1996. I learned to embroider by buying kits and books by Bucilla and books on Silk Ribbon Embroidery by Judith Baker Montano. When Etsy came out in 2005 I did not know if my embroidery or anything I made would sell. I have been able to sell on Etsy and hope for a bigger fan base with future sales.

A. I mentioned Judith Baker Montano, I love her bold and beautiful work with crazy quilting and silk ribobn embroidery. I had also discovered textile art several years ago. Using all types of fibers to create a work of art, fabric is the canvas and fibers of all manner is the paint. Almost anything can inspire: a bouquet of flowers, a piece of lace, books, magazines and other people.
Q. When you're not doing things for your shop can we find you around the internet?
A. LOL I play farmville. I'm on Facebook
