Happy Cyber Monday! Even though there are amazing deals to be had on Black Friday, I am not brave enough to venture out into the stores. However, I love to take advantage of Cyber Monday sales as I can do that from the comfort of my home with a cup of coffee in hand...it doesn't get any easier! All the patterns here have some sort of discount or promotional offering with purchase. (Be sure to check the shop announcement for full details.) It's a great time to stock up on some patterns to get you through the winter!

Happy Monday! I have started my holiday shopping and now I am beginning to think about decorating my house for the season. I love having items for the home hand-embroidered with festive designs...things that are decorative but also practical and useful. So here are a few designs I found on Etsy that would be wonderful stitched on tea towels, napkins, place mats, table runners, aprons.... And of course, all of these ideas would make excellent hostess gifts!

Captain's Notes



So, I seemed to have missed announcing the challenge winner here on the blog, but a huge "Thank you" to Shelley AKA Spin for doing so on the team board and keeping things moving.  As many of you know, the winner was Daniel of Tails32x with the Christmas Ice Castle.  Congratulations!

The winner of the current challenge always chooses the next challenge theme and this time its:

The reveal date here will be December 16th, which is when you will all be able to share your work and we will start voting Tuesday the 20th and will run it through Christmas.  You can see all the details on the discussion board here!

Sadly, we also lost one of our old leaders and a wonderful teammate, Rebekah of Beetastic.  Rebekah has decided to take a break from etsy for awhile and hopefully will be back in the future.  I am certain I can speak for my fellow team leaders when I say we have appreciated the work Bekah put into our team and we hope to see her back soon!
